Driven by our belief in the power of education, we work hand in hand with the school to help it grow

The Friends of UP Visayas High School Foundation, Inc. (FUPVHSFI) is a non-profit organization committed to supporting the UP High School in Iloilo. With a mission to enhance opportunities for the students and faculty members, the foundation is mainly driven to contribute to the school’s development initiatives.

Central to the foundation’s approach is its collaborative relationship with the UP High School administration, UPIC, UPVHS, and UPHSI alumni and friends, ensuring that fund allocation decisions are made jointly to effectively address the school’s immediate needs.

Enhance opportunities for students and faculty members by supporting development initiatives that directly impact academic excellence, student welfare, and school facilities.

From scholarships to campus improvement and teacher training, we fund and implement projects that help create an environment where learners can succeed and teachers can inspire.

Message from the Principal

Dear UPHSI alumni and friends,

On behalf of the UP High School in Iloilo, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Friends of UP Visayas High School Foundation, Inc. Your support has truly made a difference in our school community and touched so many lives.

This year, your generosity provided ₱855,000 for our operating needs, allowing us to attend both local and international conferences, set up events, and address immediate school concerns. ₱837,099 was dedicated to improving our school facilities.

Scholarships and food allowances, amounting to ₱130,000, lightened the burden of deserving students.

Faculty and staff benefited greatly from ₱423,365 allocated for HMO coverage. Finally, ₱150,000 was set aside to support the yearbook for our graduating class of 2025, a memory they will treasure for years to come.

The impact of your kindness is visible in the smiles of our students, teachers, and staff. We are so grateful for your continued commitment to our shared mission. We look forward to working together towards even greater achievements.

This project provides health insurance coverage to tenured faculty members and staff of UPHSI, ensuring they have reliable healthcare assistance when needed.

UPHSI Emerging Needs Fund

Allocating at least 1,000,000 pesos, this fund is designed to address the evolving needs of UPHSI.
