Warm Greetings from UP High School in Iloilo! 

On behalf of the entire UPHSI community, I would like to express my gratitude to our alumni and friends for your unwavering support during our previous annual fundraiser. Your generosity has made a lasting impact on our school. 

Last year, ₱800,000 was dedicated to improving our school facilities, ensuring a better learning environment for our students. Scholarships and food allowances amounting to ₱130,000 have eased the burden of deserving students, while ₱423,365 allocated for HMO coverage has greatly benefited our hardworking faculty and staff. Your contributions have also allowed us to attend both local and international conferences, organize important events, and address immediate school concerns.

This year, we are honored to share that the rehabilitation of our key learning spaces has been supported by the generous contributions of various alumni classes. Their support has helped us address priority areas, including:

• Installation of awning windows for improved ventilation and safety
• Upgrading of the Conference Room, Research, Computer, and View Laboratories
• Repairs in the Utility Room
• Installation of emergency lights and fire extinguishers

These improvements are estimated to cost ₱1,757,470.25. While we have made significant progress, there is still much to be done, and we humbly appeal for your continued support to fully realize these projects.

In addition to the rehabilitation project, UPHSI also seeks financial assistance to support our faculty, staff, and students in yearlong academic and non-academic activities. Participation in various conferences and competitions has greatly boosted the morale and confidence of our students, providing them with invaluable experiences and opportunities for growth. This initiative is estimated to cost around ₱500,000. Your support in this area will ensure that our students and educators continue to excel and represent UPHSI with pride.

As I approach the end of my first term as Principal, I reflect on these achievements with immense gratitude. Looking ahead, I hope to serve a second term to build on this momentum. I plan to strengthen our collaborations with the PTA and Alumni to address the school’s ongoing needs. Together, we will seek funding to develop and improve crucial learning spaces. Our upcoming priorities include:

• Creating a botanical garden around the UPHSI Building, featuring learning hubs, a science garden, and a potential student center
• Enhancing the Division of Professional Education and UPHSI Administration Office
• Upgrading the Research Room, Archive Room, and Record Section
• Constructing a new fence surrounding the UPHSI Building for enhanced campus security
• Completing two unfinished rooms in the SHS Building
• Refurbishing the new UPHSI Library and Guidance Office

As a valued member of the UPHSI community, your contribution—whether financial or in kind—will make a meaningful difference in enhancing the safety, learning experience, and well-being of our students. 

Every donation brings us closer to creating a more disaster-ready, learner-centered environment and supporting the holistic development of our students and staff.
