UPV City Campus Electrification Project

Program details

In partnership with MORE Electric and Power Corporation, this project provides additional electrification not only to the new high school building but as well as the other buildings affected by the lack of power capacity provided by the current power source in the city campus. With a total cost of around 4,252,669.13 pesos, wherein 971,694.57 pesos was generously donated by MORE Power, this initiative addresses the urgent need for a more conducive learning and working environment for the high school students, faculty members, and staff.

By addressing the shortage in electrical capacity in the campus, this project will enable the installation of much-needed air conditioning units and other electronic equipment in the high school buildings. This is also going to be beneficial for future structural projects that will be requiring more power supply.

The project covers the labor and materials for the installation of the new electric service connection, the main distribution panel, and the electrical wiring in the new high school building.

Less than a year since the project was launched, the UP High School, as well as its neighboring buildings, is now ready to be energized as needed.
